Zephyr Westbound from Denver [3 of 7]

Green for the Zephyr and a red signal for the empty coal train. The Zephyr's head end is hard at work taking us up this grade. As I recall we were making 25 to 30 MPH at this point.

I came back west bound over this trackage a week later and was supposed to pass thorugh here just b4 sunset. On that day as we exited Moffit Tunnel we were held for several hours 5 or 6 miles east of the tunnel portal for a 'Heat Kink'. (I think I'd call it a cold kink because I never gets hot up there.) Accordingly we passed over this area around 10pm.

This place must have a name. If anyone can help I'll up date this series accordingly ! /DL
