The Old Nashua, Acton and Boston Railroad in Downtown Nashua

Pictured is the right of way for the old Nashua, Acton and Boston Railroad in Downtown Nashua. This photo looks north, at the intersection of Pine Street and Lake Street, near the old John F. McElwain Show Factory. The blue truck in center, is parked in the right of way, now the driveway of the residence to the left of the right or way. When looked at more closely, this residence vaguely resembles a station and could be the old Sandy Pond station on this line. Perhaps not as the Lake Street Garage (behind you in this photo) is more likely on the location of the old station.
If you zoom in on this picture, there is a lenght of rusty iron resting on the stone wayy, left center of the picture, at the foot of the tall brushes. Most likely old NA&B Iron pulled from the ddriveway.
