FRVT comes off the Y

FRVT #101 leads its train from the East Braintree sidings on to what will be the Greenbush line of the MBCR in 2007.He's heading for Twin Rivers with a load of tank cars. The right side of this Y is where the MBCR to Scituate will enter from the current MBCR tracks as they approach Braintree station. I believe the Old Colony Railroad used to own these tracks before MBCR and CSX were around. A map in Frank Kyper's book The Railroad That Came Out at Night shows Conrail as a prior owner, too.
