Diner 8521 departs Wilmington, Del for New York on the 3 hours late Silver Meteor. I had last seen this diner in August, 2003 at Beech Grove and thought that it was about to be overhauled and repainted. I believe that it may have been overhauled but thankfully it still is wearing Phase III paint. My thought is if the paint is in good condition to keep the car running in that paint. This was a former Southern RR diner.
