Trestle at Clinton Dam

This photo is one of numerous photos taken in 1903 to document the building of the Wachusett Reservoir. This B & M is heading east just before entering the west portal of the Clinton Tunnel. The trestle was dismantled in 1972. The dam spillway can be seen at the top left and the road going under the overpass is the current Rt 62. These Wachusett reservoir photos are available at the Clinton, Boylston, and West Boylston public libraries.

Unknown photographer September 8, 1903.
Added to the photo archive by Chas Paddock, December 25, 2004.
