Another view of CEFX-3715 in Service on the NECR

New to the NECR locomotive roster is CEFX 3715. I first spotted CEFX 3715 in service on the NECR as a member of the four locomotive consist for NECR train 324 waiting at Waterbury, VT on November 19, 2004 about 4:00 pm for a meet with northbound 323. CEFX 3715 is a SD-40-2 built in 1980 as UP 3715 and subsequently acquired by CEFX. It is known to have served on the Alabama & Gulf Coast Railway in July of this year. Like NECR, the Alabama & Gulf Coast Railway is owned by RailAmerica. CEFX 3715 is photographed here as the last locomotive in the consist for NECR train 324 about to leave St. Albans, VT for Brattleboro on November 23, 2004.
