NYNHHRR Employees badge. 1944

This is a badge all operating employees had to wear as identification,during the World War ll years, in order to get into the yards and on station platforms. Picture taken August 1944 by the NYNHHRR employment office of me sixty years ago. I started work as the Cedar Hill messenger September 8, 1944 at the tender age of 15 years. Bob L.
