New Haven Water St. yard looking towards yard office and Canal side of Water St. yard. Switchmans shanty in front of yard office. Passenger yard to right. This yard was across from the New Haven railroad station. Beyond the station platforms. The area with the buildings and cars have been razed. The Brewery St. post office complex in now built on this site.
Metro North uses the tracks to the right and out of the picture.
