A TRAIN!! THERE'S A REAL TRAIN IN VICTORIA!!!!!

Rare sight these days, regular freight service to Victoria ended in 2001 when the E&N stopped hauling propane to Esquimalt. In 2001 trains ran twice a week to Victoria, Tuesday and Thursday(as required), they usually consisted of the GP9 and GP20, and 2-6 cars. Today the E&N only handles special moves such as returning dead Budd Cars to the shops in Victoria or the transformer that was hauled to the Langford siding. Hard to believe that just ten short years ago Victoria had daily freight service, and an early morning switcher that would switch the industries in Victoria.
