0729 and 0995 (?)

NYNH&H DL-109 0729 goes for a ride on the Charles Street Roundhouse turntable at Oriental Street in Providence, R.I. The 2,000 hp critter was built near the end of World War II in 1944. The "S" class switcher to the left appears to be 0995, but the last digit is obscured on the negative. If the number is correct, it's a 660 hp S-1 built in 1949, and is among the last three of the S-1 series (DEY-3 in New Haven nomenclature). 0995 was the last one built.
