On 4/15/03, my wife and I boarded Amtrak #5, the California Zephyr, for what turned out to be a 60-hour jaunt from Chicago to San Francisco for vacation. Just out of Chicago Union Station (and immediately after having mail and ExpressTrack reefers tacked on to our consist), we're pacing a Metra scoot out of Chicago, as seen from our Superliner car. A tiny bit of the Sears Tower is visible at the extreme upper left.
