RMNE's NH 2525

So it's a little BEFORE the RMNE, actually dates to about the time the RMNE's forerunner, the CVRA was forming. This is a "bought'n" slide from Bob's Photos and it interested me for a couple of reasons. The location is W. Fourth St. in Boston; note the 2525 is coupled to the 2500, so you have the first and last of the NH's U25-B's hitched together....wonder how often that occurred? Note, also, FL-9 2033 on the adjacent track. Ironically, when M/N renumbered the FL-9's, the last FL-9, 2059 was renumbered 2033 and is now also part of the RMNE's collection. What became of the origional 2033, it was renumbered 2008 and is still in regular service as of this writing, one of the last of the M/N "beachballs" still running.
