CR approaches Seekonk River Movable Bridge

The local job, BP-something from Providence with a GP-9, still using its former Penn Central and New Haven Railroad designation, creeps toward Seekonk River Movable Bridge. At least the elderly semaphore signals were still in service. That car belongs to the bridge operator, who controlled the derails, signals, and bridge locks. I believe the op was Chuck McCaughey, who I met later when I went to work for Amtrak. He was a dispatcher for a while, and, last I knew, was a Boston trainmaster.
