Room with a view

The view from an Atlantic Coast Line mail storage car on the New Haven's East Side Tunnel line offered a good vantage point to view the Alco S-2s switching the post office yard in Providence, R.I. The track was flat, as far as I could tell, but that derail should knock off anything that might roll its way. Its motion was actuated by the op in SS-151, and was independent of any switch alignment.
