Bumper on the Central Mass Branch

Here is the bumper installed by the B&M when freight service on the Central Mass Branch was cut back to just west of the former Waltham North Station. Agway is one former customer still in business and is a few 100 feet east of this location. A few years later service was cut back from this point to Nonamtum Lumber Yard about 100 yards from the Central Mass switch at Clematis Brook. Guilford served them until the lumber yard went out of business in the early 90s.
