Valley Line in good shape

Arriving at Haddam, CT, the ROW looks much better. In this view, the track are at least passable but tie condition is not too good. Directly behind me, is the furthest that Valley RR service operates. This is where the "bad track" section starts and continues into Middletown.

Here a stop indication on a concrete post indicates where Valley RR engineers should stop their trains. Valley RR operates no further past this post. Maybe someday though, trains will go into Hartford!
