Bad old daysGeorgia Central Ry. 3602 has seen better days. The high-hood engine appears to be ex-Norfolk & Western, which bought diesel power in that configuration. The engine, being cannibalized for still-operating sisters, was lying in the freight railroad's engine shop in Lyons, Ga., near Macon, in July 2000.
