"Hangar Queen"

CVRM's OTHER RS-3, Amtrak 140, nee PRR 8912, sits in the siding at Deep River as the 529 makes a reverse move to couple back on to it's train. The 140 was acquired with the 529, mainly as a parts supply. A few years ago, the museum acquired a third RS-3, MEC 557, one of only 2 such units owned by the MEC. Plans are to restore it to it's origional livery and serviceable condition, when time and resources permit.

Photographed by BandAfan, November 1, 1986.
Added to the photo archive by Carl Weber Jr., April 27, 2004.
Railroad: CVRM/RMNE.
