Amtrak Intercity Acela Regional train No. 134 is way-y-y late arriving Boston. The train was due in South Station at 12:50 p.m., on a warm August afternoon, but it didn't get to the station until 4:00 p.m. - 3 hours, 5 minutes off the mark.
Some 25 minutes later, after going around the loop track and through the car wash, across the Dorchester Branch diamond at South Bay Tower and onto the "Amtrak Runner" track, the yard crew, AEM-7 954, and the string are moving westward again, and into Southampton Street Yard.
