The maze - 1

5:02 p.m. - Amtrak train No. 133 snakes its way through the maze of tracks and catenary on its way to D.C. The rear car is just clearing the platforms at South Station. Those white things on the ground are part of a ground freezing system to support the track while the "Big Dig" tunnel is being dug just a few feet below.
