Middletown,CT. North Yard

Here is an aerial view of the Middletown, CT. north yard right at the end of the New Haven RR ownership in the late 1960's. There were 5 tracks in the middle of the yard, several sidings and the freight house was still standing. Picture taken from Town of Cromwell engineering department archives, with permission.

The large complex at the top of the picture is the old Remington "Noiseless" Typewriter factory.

Photographed by Bob Niesyn, April 4, 1965.
