E&N GP20 2099 sits on the RIP Track in the Wellcox yard. 2099 is a former Chicago Burlington and Quincy GP20(902).This locomotive is stand-by power for the two GP38's. Until January of 2002 this unit could often be seen on freight trains to Victoria, Parksville, or Courtenay and on the Nanaimo switch job, usually paired up with GP9 1001.
