NYC @ Palmer, MA in the early 50's

Picture taken from RT 32 overhead bridge. This is in Palmer, MA a little behind Rathbone Co. Look close where the NYC steam took on water. There were 2 water columns, one for eastbound trains and one for westbound trains. This photo shows 2 NYC Fairbanks-Morse "Erie-builts", later versions with standard six wheel trucks, heading through Palmer,MA Early 1950's. Special thanks to Bandafan for locomotive type correction.
