Adirondack Scenic RR GE 44 ton

Also in the Utica yard is this GE 44 ton locomotive. It was part of the final order of locomotives purchased by the New York, Ontario & Western RR. After the O&W's demise it went to Salt Lake, Garfield & Western RR. A few years ago it was brought up to Lake Placid, NY to work on the Adirondack Scenic RR. It is now on it's way to the Southern Railroad of New Jersey.
