CT Eastern RR Museum's Golden Spike Ceremony - FL-9 & 44 Tonner meet The view of the meeting of the FL-9 and 44 Tonner at the Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum's Golden Spike Ceremony. The ceremony marked the joining of the recently re-constructed rails within the fence of the museum, to the existing ex-NYNH&H Air Line rails that currently run up to the Bridge Street area.
Despite the crappy weather, we had well over 300 people attend the ceremony, including local dignataries and a representative from the P&W. Thanks to all that came to help us celebrate!
