The ground begins to shake

The grade behind the RJ Reynolds plant in King, NC is a steep one..... though I don't know the actual percent, you can see that this train required five engines to climb it at a crawl. When hauling a train of 100 or so coal hoppers, this area will often require all eight of the YVRR's working locomotives to work at full power.
