Flying Yankee - B&M 6000 - brakeman's side door

A look in through the open door to the brakeman's area of the cab. You can really appreciate the technology of 1935 from this view. To the left of the brake wheel is a post that will soon hold the seat. At the time of this picture, the "A" unit of the 6000 was inside the Claremont Concord RR shops getting a rebuilt Winton engine.
