New BNSF C44-9W's just out of the paint shop pass NY&LE FPA-4's. During the year 2000, GE at Erie was backlogged with several large orders so contracted out painting to Thunderport Industries in Corry, PA. Here the Allegheny & Eastern local has #5486 & 5487 making it's way thru downtown Corry, PA on their way back to GE-Erie for delivery. The NY & Lake Erie RR kept their FPA-4's in town, but that line (ex EL) is now run by the WNY&PA.
