PRR GG1 #4927

This GG1 #4927 was photographed at the Illinois Railway Museum. It came to the museum in black Amtrak colors and was cosmetically restored about 3 years ago. The IRM cannot run the unit because of the high voltage requirement of 11000v vs 660v for the trolleys and interurbans they do run.

Photographed by Chris Skrundz, July 13, 2001.
Added to the photo archive by Chris Skrundz, June 2, 2003.
Railroad: Pennsylvania.
