The hump in CSX's Frontier Yard in Buffalo

The hump lives in Frontier Yard. Built in 1957, the yard has 63 classification tracks as well as north and south recieving tracks. In terms of electronics technology, it's the oldest in the CSX system. The hump, retarders and switches are operated by vacuum tube units installed when the yard was built.
