Trivia time. What does this engine go to? Who made it? Horsepower? Year built? (Ya win a cup of Java from me if you get THAT one) Yes, it is a Locomotive engine. Yup! If you said built in 1934 Winton 201A 600HP for the Flying Yankee you are correct. This shot was taken at the Claremont & Concord RR shops at Claremont Junction, NH. Power for the train was provided by Electro Motive Corporation (Didn't become EMD until early 1942 when GM Merged the two divisions into one creating EMD we know today)
