Heavy grade in snow on Watertown Branch

GRS Watertown Branch turn leaves Newlywed Foods on their spur down to the waiting train, before heading back to Fresh Pond Junction. Its heavy snow, and that grade with curves took some effort from the GP unit to push four or five loaded covered hoppers up to the plant. The line was once active beyond this point to Watertown center and the Arsenal. Years back, it continued onto Bemis. The Bemis line was salvaged last fall after service was cut from a lumberyard.
