Good Ol' Days

UP #477 (formerly #1697) Consolidation 2-8-0 on static display in Oakdale Park, Salina, Kansas. She was saved from the scrappers and donated to the city by the UP on July 4,1955. After her final run from Ft.Riley/Junction City, she was stored for 3 weeks at the Salina roundhouse, after which she was placed on static display in the park, moving under her own power on temporary tracks laid from 4th street in Salina, KS.
