Some local kids narrowly escape getting sliced and diced by Amtrak train 684 as it races through Saco, Maine on its way to Wells and points south. If the train had been just 10 or 15 seconds earlier, the kids would have met it on the railroad bridge over the Saco River, forcing them to either plunge into the icey water below, or...
