Louisville and Nashville observation car Royal Street

Parked behind Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri the beautifully restored Royal Street was part of a private train from Chicago to Kansas City and return for the Railway Passenger Car Alliance convention which was held January 11-13, 2002. Note the green Southern Crescent tail sign. Built in 1950 by the Pullman Company in Lot 6814 to Plan 4162 this is one of four cars that served as observation cars on the New York to New Orleans train. The Royal Street is available for charter.
