Visitor Comments about this Photo:

This engine was built for the Bonhomie and Hattiesburg Southern Railroad in 1926, where she served until 1963. From the B&HS she went to the Wanamaker, Kempton and Southern Railroad in Pennsylvania, and from there to the Strasburg where she was retubed, and then to the Wolfeboro Railroad in New Hampshire where she ran until she failed an FRA inspection (for a too thin crown sheet, if I remember correctly).

She had a lovely whistle that would bounce off the hills as she ran between Wolfeboro and Sanbornville.

The last I saw of her she was at EDAville, painted a bright shade of blue -- but that was a few years ago.
