The shot that almost wasn't... We had just finished watching one of the D&H Belden Hill reroutes below Starucca Viaduct when the NYSW ran one of their stack trains east. The third unit soon had an overspeed event and shut down, stalling the train. All the fans became trapped on the wrong side at the Germantown Rd. crossing. Speeding ahead we stopped next to a farn crossing for a shot of the now proceeding train. Oops.... The other fans spotted us and like lemmings invaded our space! No room to shoot! Help!! I'm falling down the embankment! [click] The rest you can see..... Too bad the scan doesn't do it justice. The 20x30 print I have has one prizes.
