Visitor Comments about this Photo:

This depot was built after the second Pemigewasset House burned, circa 1908. The south end had an REA Express office and the baggage room. Center was the waiting room. The north end originally had a restaurant but by 1952 housed a candlepin alley. In steam days there were water plugs on the north end of the platform. This was a two track station. There was a standard time clock in the station for the employees to check their watches.
