Held up outside of Brattleboro

From the 5/16 Willimantic/Brattleboro excursion over the NECR...

The excursion was held up for about 45 minutes just outside of Brattleboro due to heavy activity in the Brattleboro yard that day, and a track problem.

The "don't stick your head out the window" rule pretty much died after the train had been stopped for a few minutes, as passengers tried to get a look at what was going on up ahead.

Lovely mosquitoes in this part of the woods. ;-)

Photographed by Terri Antrim, May 16, 1998.
