Photo of PATCO and PRSL
PATCO and PRSL

We're on the platform of the Lindenwold, N.J. terminus of the Delware River Port Authority's PATCO high speed line from Philadelphia.

To the right is the layover yard for Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Line's RDC trains to Atlantic City, Cape May and other seashore points.

PRSL service from Lindenwold was discontinued in the early 1980s due to declining ridership and deteriorating track.

Amtrak and New Jersey Transit rebuilt the Atlantic City line in 1989 for regional service. Although Amtrak withdrew its service in the mid-1990s, NJT continues to operate a fleet of regional trains between Philadelphia and Atlantic City.

NJT trains connect at Lindenwold with PATCO, using a platform on the lower level of the station.
