Greenville Junction, Maine (1)A long trestle and truss bridge led the CP over a road, an inlet to Moosehead Lake and the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad. the BAR passed under the truss and first plate girder bridges to access a long pier in Moosehead Lake. Passengers were transferred to lake steamers owned by the Coburn Steamship Company to take them to grand summer hotels such as Kineo. One of these steamers, the Katahdin still plies Moosehead today. Interchange with the CP was made to left of this photo.
