BCLR S4 #1061 stored in Newton Upper Falls

About 2 months ago, stored and derelict BCLR S4 #1061 was pulled to this spot by the BCLR for its former resting spot at the end-of-track in Newton Upper Falls (aka Cook St. / Cook Jct., where this line meets the MBTA Green Line), for a total distance of several hundred yards. It is reported that this engine may be headed to Charles Ro for display (Charles Ro is a prominent model train shop in Malden). It needs brake repairs to travel by rail, however.

Photographed by John Joyce, December 28, 2003.
Added to the photo archive by John Joyce, January 2, 2004.
Railroad: Bay Colony.
