The Monday (1/18) EDPO 7518 included a "Special Guest" in the shiny yellow switcher, now GMTX 1505, making it's journey back to it's home rails in Central NH for the New England Southern wing of the Vermont Rail System family of railroads. The EDPO power lineup included 7518, 7727, and even 1505 was working.

This picture is not mine, it was given to me with permission to post in total anonymity under the code name, "Happy Birthday Kelly!!!". Under the "Cone of Silence", I agreed not to reveal the true ID of this picture taker.. ;-)

As NEGS 2555, this SW1500 was shipped to the shops of new owner, Vermont Railway, in mid-August 2020. After undergoing inspection, and repairs, VTR sold NEGS 2555 to the leasing company, GMTX, with a lease back to VTR, it was re lettered and renumbered to 1505. The NEGS hallmark of shiny yellow paint, survives, as do two small NEGS decals, under the GMTX lettering on the cab.

The EDPO 7518 Crew dropped GMTX 1505 in Westford (CPF 307) for NA-1 503 to pick up, along with the rest of the freight for Nashua. The Nashua Crews will get 1505 to Concord for the NEGS Crew to take north to their home rails.
