MEC C-424m #450 stored at East Deerfield

MEC C-424m #450 is stored at East Deerfield in this June 1996 shot, awaiting disposition. Another MEC C-424m is visible at left. #450 was moved dead-in-tow to the East Deerfield deadlines with stacks capped via train #261 on 9/9/95. It left the GTI system in 1996 and went to the Livonia Avon and Lakeville, where it is in service today as LAL #424. Note that the unit received the new "GRS" paint scheme right before being taken out of service.

Photographed by David Mann, June, 1996.
Added to the photo archive by David Mann, January 14, 2006.
