VTR B&R action -- Thursday June 12, 2014After getting somewhat of a late start out of Rutland (cutting out a balky 2334 and replacing it with 303), the southbound B&R turn drifts through the Sunderland Vt. marshes with a shrouded Mount Equinox in the background. A leisurely pace today through here for the "anniversary" 311 - (WACR painted) 202 and the 303 as they must wait for the tie and track gang to clear two miles ahead in Arlington. The wet weather has been kind to the prolific wild yellow irises in the swampy wetlands of southern Vermont.
