Shot # 5 of 5 of the Southern Pacific Heritage Unit. For anyone who knows me knows that I am a big fan of Southern Pacific considering that I grew up in Los Angeles, California in the 1970's through the early 1990's. Now, That I live in the Westminster, Massachusetts area. I make a yearly trip to Southern Cal to visit my family and since 2008, I have been chasing UP 1996. In 2008, I missed it by a day. In 2009 and 2010, It wasnt in the area when I was out there. In 2011, I missed it by about 20 minutes, But in 2012. I caught it at Pomona, California on a UP business train. Next up on the Union Pacific heritage fleet that I want to see is either the Western Pacific unit or the Rio Grande unit.

This is my last shot of my 2012 Southern California collection. Unfortunately, There will be no 2013 collection of shots as I cant afford a trip to Southern California this year which I normally take at this time of the year.
