Shot # 2 of 5 of the Southern Pacific Heritage Unit. For anyone who knows me knows that I am a big fan of Southern Pacific considering that I grew up in Los Angeles, California in the 1970's through the early 1990's. Now, That I live in the Westminster, Massachusetts area. I make a yearly trip to Southern Cal to visit my family and since 2008, I have been chasing UP 1996. In 2008, I missed it by a day. In 2009 and 2010, It wasnt in the area when I was out there. In 2011, I missed it by about 20 minutes, But in 2012. I caught it at Pomona, California on a UP business train. Next up on the Union Pacific heritage fleet that I want to see is either the Western Pacific unit or the Rio Grande unit.
