Waiting for a signal at Readville. As soon as an inbound commuter train passes, LB-2 will cross above the Shore Line to make its set out and head for South Boston. April, 1966 marked the beginning of the road's covering BL-1/LB-2 from its group of remaining 0400s. There were two ABBA sets rebuilt in 1959, plus four FB-2s not needed by GE as trade-ins. This assignment freed up road switchers and lasted into the PC era.
