NYNHHRR-Employees receipt for hand lantern

NYNHHRR-this is the employees receipt for his metal hand lantern stamped with the number on the receipt. This was all before the advent of the plastic lanterns.
It cost the brakeman 2.00 cash or payroll deduction. I was flush that day and paid with cash as written on the receipt. If the employee quit or was fired and returned the lantern, his 2.00 was returned to him.
