Photo of Cajon Pass, western slope.
Cajon Pass, western slope.

An east bound trailer train has managed to cross the San Andreas Fault via Blue Canyon, (far left) and has just passed Swarthout Canyon road crossing. It will shortly reach Cajon, to begin the climb to Summit via the North Track. At the time ATSF deliberately lashed up units of the same make and model, as well as keeping them clean.
